Fire Risk Assessment

The Health and Safety Executive state that “Employers (and/or building owners or occupiers) must carry out a fire safety risk assessment and keep it up to date.” Therefore, if you are an employer and/or building owner or occupier, you need to ensure that adequate and appropriate fire safety measures are in place to minimise the risk of injury or loss of life in the event of a fire.

To meet your obligations, you must carry out a fire safety risk assessment and implement and maintain a fire management plan. This is where Facet Technical Resource Solutions can help.  We provide a full fire risk assessment service to ensure that you comply fully with the current legislation.

We will help you prevent fire in the workplace by carrying out a full site risk assessment identifying what could cause a fire to start and the people who may be at risk.  We will also provide you with detailed actions that you could take to control the risk or remove them altogether.

Commissioning

During the commissioning process our fully qualified engineers test the installation thoroughly ensuring that it meets all of the regulatory requirements.   Our engineer will hand the system over ensuring that you know how to use it properly and also provide you with a certificate to confirm it’s been commissioned.

PPM Labour

We are a small company who aim to provide a first-class service to our customers at all times. We work to this high standard by listening to our customers and investing in our staff through development and training.

We are able to provide a planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programme to prevent the breakdown or failure of your fire safety equipment, before it actually occurs. This provides uninterrupted operation of your buildings fire safety system and could result in significant cost savings, for you over the lifetime of the system.

We provide bespoke planned preventative maintenance programmes which we tailor to our customers’ requirements.

PPM programs include:

  • Equipment checks
  • Replacement of parts
  • General overhauls
  • Specialist servicing

The timing of each maintenance check is dependent on the equipment, recognised maintenance standards, our expert recommendation and your own requirements.

Fault Finding

The first principle of fault finding is to prevent the fault in the first place.  The responsible person has the duty of care ensure that the fire safety system has been verified. They are required to ensure the competence of those carrying out the design, installation and commissioning of the system. They are also required to make sure have every stage is signed off and certified by an appropriately qualified person.

You can rest assured that Facet Technical Resource Solutions will ensure that all works is carried out by an appropriately qualified and certified professional.  This will ensure that your system is designed, installed and commissioned according to the required standards and that you fulfil all of the legal requirements contained within the Law.

If you have any issues with your installation, Facet Technical Resource Solutions will be there to support you.  Our fully qualified engineers will be on site as soon as is possible within the time frame of your contract, to identify any fault and provide a plan to fix it.

Interim Management

Facet Technical Resource Solutions are able to offer organisation, looking to source an experienced Interim Fire Safety Management to work a contract basis.

We are able to offer Interim Fire Safety Management to provide support to the organisations including:
